ORLAND – This story carries a left of heft. There is not a lot of text, but the pictures are tell quite a story. Furthermore, the “heft” is in what law enforcement took away from the scene.
On July 3 GCSD officers, and other agency representatives, descended on the 6000 block of County Road 8.
Once there, they discovered “3,201 mature marijuana plants.” They eradicated the plants. Although they “found a shotgun in one of the dwellings,” they did not encounter any suspects.
Consequently, “the investigation is ongoing.”
The Glenn County Inter-Agency Task Force reminds residents concerning cultivation of marijuana. Any such cultivation outside of their residence is a violation of the county ordinance. Citizens who see any narcotic activity in their neighborhood can call GLINTF at (530) 934-6317.” If you call, you may remain anonymous of you so choose.
