CRESCENT CITY – The infamous “traffic stop” on June 29 near 9:00 pm, with K-9 Kai’s help, became a drug bust in Crescent City.
31-year-old Justin Carr drove a car containing drugs. What made it worse for him was that he was on PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision).
That previous arrest involved possession of a controlled substance for sales.
Officers found $2,224 in the car. They also found 5.1 grams of meth, as well as “packaging material and a digital scale.”
Carr faces another possession of controlled substances for sales, and also transportation of a controlled substance for sales. Finally, of course, he has a violation of probation charge.
No bail for Carr, but a PRCS hold.
