MOUNTAIN VIEW — The MVPD arrested four male suspects wanted in a brutal attack in Mountain View.
According to the MVPD, the group attacked a 16-year-old Mountain View resident on July 12 around 8:40 pm. Additionally, it happened near Ortega Park not far from Crisanto Avenue. The young teen walked to meet his 19-year-old friend in a parked RV on Crisanto Avenue. then multiple gang members driving an older model Chrysler and Honda Sedan attacked him.
Further reports showed that the suspects also attacked the young man living in the RV. They left serious cuts on his face when they hit him with loaded firearms in order to rob him. This attack occurred as the first young man received treatment at a local hospital. The same suspects attacked the second younger teen in order to intimidate him.
Then on Saturday officers responded to another assault victim near Rengstorff and Leland avenues. The 8:45 pm assault involved a similar Chevy sedan. Again, multiple teen suspects, possibly gang members, committed the attack.
MVPD officers performed a high risk traffic stop and arrested two 16-year-old suspects. Their charges are –
- assault with a deadly weapon;
- burglary;
- brandishing a firearm;
- terrorist threats;
- carrying a concealed firearm in a car;
- carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle in a public place;
- receiving stolen property and possessing high capacity magazines.
Then, Investigators identified a third person involved in the assault as 18-year-old Mountain View resident Cesar Rosas.
Consequently his charges are –
- arrested for multiple weapons and assault charges;
- gang enhancement charges. These charges lengthen the suspect’s sentence for operating as a criminal gang member.
Then authorities arrested a fourth suspect, 19-year-old Alberto Ibarra-Vallejo, on July 17, 2018. The arrest occurred at his home on the 1000 block of Space Park Way by Mountain View. Finally, his charges are –
- assault with a deadly weapon;
- brandishing a firearm;
- gang enhancement charges.
