FRESNO – Three perpetrators of a home invasion robbery one day after their deed.
FPD arrested 25-year old Stefanie Golden, 41-year old Jason Jones, and 34-year old Robert Ross. The July 19th arrest came in connection with a home invasion robbery. On July 18th FPD arrived at 3737 North Blackstone, the location of Fresno Hotel.
Upon the officers’ arrival, the victims recounted how they were awaken by two men who had broken into their room. Moreover, one of the suspects held a gun. The thieves demanded money, going as far as striking the victims with the gun. The suspects made away with a wallet and car keys. A look outside their window confirmed that they also made off with the victims’ car.
Street Violence Bureau Robbery detectives narrowed down the wanted suspects to Golden, Jones, and Ross. Consequently, the detectives observed the three on July 19th at the location of the robbery moving items into a vehicle.
Several departments collaborated with the Street Violence Bureau to surround the suspects and take them into custody including the Career Criminal Apprehension Team, MAGEC, and Northeast District Patrol. A search of the suspect’s items recovered a loaded, stolen handgun.
The trio face charges of Home Invasion Robbery, Carjacking, and Conspiracy to commit robbery.
