POWAY – Apparently it was a family affair involved in a series of residential burglaries.
The burglary occurred on June 6, the arrests occurred on June 11 and the press release came out today.
28-year-old Daron Davon Turner and his half-brother, 25-year-old Daren Tyrone Turner, are the arrested pair. They both hail from Inglewood but their arrest occurred in Poway.
Investigators linked the two to “multiple residential burglaries throughout the north county region.” They also seized evidence linking them to the burglaries
While Daron faces ten felony counts of burglary, Daren faces five.
But that’s not all.
Daron’s mother, Lillie Mae Turner faces a possession of stolen property charge.
Daron’s uncle, Gregory Earl Newberry, faces a felon in possession of a firearm charge.
Finally, Daron’s unnamed girlfriend’s charges are possession of stolen property and felon in possession of a firearm.
