LINDA – The stabbing occurred on July 17. Just before 9:00 a.m. the victim’s family reported a the stabbing of their relative. The attack occurred on Gossett Way. Their call came from the hospital as their relative received medical attention.
The victim suffered stab wounds to his abdomen. Since the incident, the victim has recovered enough to leave the hospital,. However, he continues to recuperate form home.
On August 7 detectives arrested 33-year-old Francisco Beltran at 9:30 a.m. They nabbed him at his home in the 1700 block of Hammonton-Smartsville Road.
His charge is attempted homicide.
