SONORA – The suspect gave her sister’s name for a reason – she had a felony warrant out on her.

It started when a call came to the SPD from a citizen concerning her PayPal debit master card. Although the victim had her card, someone was making purchases on it. The card had been used at the Roadway Inn.

Officers responded to her call, going to the Inn. Hotel staff gave them information about the room where the activity originated.
Officers came across a man and a woman in the specified room. There they discovered an embossing machine, several access cards and two glass smoking pipes.
In the first place Officers arrested Kevin Michael James Defilippo. They also arrested Sara Denise Rosas, although at first she gave her sister’s name to officers. They soon discovered it was because of the felony warrant she had out on her.

Defilippo’s charges include –
- possess access card manufacturing equipment;
- defraud using forged access card;
- conspiracy;
- possess metal knuckles;
- paraphernalia.
Rosas’ charges include –
- conspiracy;
- defraud using forged access card;
- possess access card manufacturing equipment;
- impersonate another.
