3,000 Marijuana Plants, 84 Lbs. of Dried Dope, 26 Processed Pounds

ORANGE COVE – TCSO seized 3,000 marijuana plants and other forms of the drug on August 7. The raid began at 8:00 a.m., conducted by the Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team (TAGNET).
In the first place, law enforcement targeted a residence in the 13000 block of Avenue 460. They discovered “illegal cultivation of marijuana gardens within the property and orange orchards.”
Also, they found several illegal rifles and large capacity magazines.
As a result, 59-year-old Diego Lua Garcia walked out in handcuffs. his charges include –
- maintaining a residence for drug use and sales;
- possession of large capacity magazine;
- possession of marijuana for sales;
- cultivation of marijuana;
- possession of assault weapon.
TAGNET seized 3,000 marijuana plants, 26 pounds of processed marijuana and 84 pounds of dried marijuana. Even more, they “eradicated and destroyed” the haul.
