ORLAND – The GCSO discovered and destroyed 1,835 marijuana plants in a recent operation.
On August 13 at 7:00 a.m. the Narcotics Task Force and Glenn County Probation Officers arrived at 6657 County Road 20.
There they encountered 29-year-old Alfredo Ordaz. They also encountered an illegal marijuana grow. Most noteworthy they found 1,835 marijuana plants, which they “eradicated.”
In addition, they found 5 pounds of processed marijuana and a firearm.
GCSO reminds residents that “any cultivation of marijuana outside of their residence is a violation of the county ordinance.”
