FRESNO – Someone shot 37-year-old Robert Madrid III on July 2 and killed him. The call came in at 5:34 p.m. Police found the victim in the alley north of 2301 E. Lewis Street.
Someone shot Madrid multiple times. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died shortly thereafter.

Investigators confirmed that someone fired shots from a vehicle driving on Thesta Avenue.
FPD said, “We are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle seen in the area during the homicide.” The identity of “this vehicle may help detectives develop further leads in this case.”
