MARYSVILLE – Detectives arrested and charged a woman’s boyfriend with sexually abusing her daughter.
The arrest on August 29 at 7:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of D Street brought to the front a series of criminal acts.
42-year-old James Robert Lanini faces charges of continual sexual abuse of a child.
The suspect allegedly abused the teenage girl for a year. Lanini was the live-in boyfirend of the girl’s mother. Family memebrs brught the report to the YCSO.
The girl was 13-years-old when the abuse began.
Lanini’s bail is $500,000.
