Lake County Child Sexual Abuse Suspect Arrested in Olympia, Washington

CLEARLAKE – The child sexual abuse suspect has ties to Las Vegas, Olympia, Washington and Clearlake.
The CPD issued a $1 million bail warrant on April 24 for 45-year-old Las Vegas resident Harry Vandyk. This warrant came as a result of an investigation that began on February 5. On August 24 US Marshalls arrested Vandyk in Olympia, Washington.
The report alleges that Vandyk sexually abused a minor under 18 years old.
The press release states that “Vandyke waived extradition.” After this, officials brought him back to Lake County and booked him into the jail.
