Man Faces 45 Years-To-Life For Sexually Assaulting Three Boys

SYLMAR – A dollar-store owner will appear in court today, facing charges of sexually assaulting three boys – two of them in his store.
L.A. County Deputy D.A. Cathy Lee said, “Enrique Ramirez (dob 5/4/58) of Sun Valley faces two felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and one felony count of lewd act upon a child.”
In the first place, Ramirez sexually assaulted one minor between December 2004 and May 2006. Then he abused two boys for a year starting in July 2017. The prosecutor said his victims were two 11-year-olds and one between the ages of 5-7.
Consequently, the case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Mission Division.
As a result, the conviction for these charges would land the defendant a maximum sentence of 45-years-to-life in state prison. Ramirez’s bail is $1.8 million.
