SHANDON – Larry Harvey, known to local law enforcement, is now arrested as of September 21. At 5:15 p.m. that day officers spotted him near a residence in the 100 block of 7th Street.
Law enforcement sought the wanted parolee for his part in “a series of vehicle thefts and a burglary” in the area. The crimes occurred over the two days previous.
Deputies considered Harvey armed and dangerous. Therefore, when they arrived, Harvey ran.
They chase went over a riverbed and through some backyards, and even through a home.
Finally they caught him near Calle Carmelita and E. Centre Street.
