CORNING – Kari, Tyler and a juvenile recently unsuccessfully tried their hand at a criminal enterprise.
On September 22 at 3:00 a.m. an alarm call brought the CPD and Tehema County deputies out. They arrived to the Woodson Bridge Market at South and Illinois Avenues.
Apparently a “team of burglars” hit the same store two other times within a week.
Officers discovered the market’s front window smashed, “leaving a hole to the interior.” They also discovered three suspects hiding behind the store.
The trio held bags of items from the store – such as cigarettes, pocket knives and drinks.
Law enforcement identified the suspects –
- 19-year-old Tyler Jacob McCaslin;
- 19-year-old Kyri Roan Hanna;
- and a 16-year-old juvenile.
The suspects now face burglary and vandalism charges. Investigators believe they may also be responsible for the previous two burglaries.
