SAN JOSE – The SJPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a wanted hate related vandalism suspect. The suspect appears in several surveillance videos and is not shy about his protest. According to San Jose Police Sergeant Enrique Garcia, “On Sunday, October 7, 2018, at approximately 5:53 AM, a hate-related vandalism occurred at a business on the 3500 block of Union Avenue in San Jose.”
It is suspected that the vandal has been targeting the area around Union Ave for the past three months during the evening drawing swastikas and damaging property near local businesses. In addition, the suspect is a white male between 30 and 40 years of age. He is unshaven with long un-kept hair brown in color. The suspect wore a white T-shirt with grey shorts and Nike tennis shoes. He also has a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.
