OROSI – Deputies of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Officer responded to an animal cruelty report on October 17th.
When they arrived at the Orosi home on Ave 428, they found two dead dogs. The deputies called in detectives who took over the investigation.
Investigation led detectives to 51-year old Angel Perez Valencia and 18-year old Carlos Rivera.
The men suspected the dogs were the culprits who killed their baby pigs. They captured the dogs, hung them, and beat them with sticks until they were dead.
Valencia and Rivera were arrested and charged with animal cruelty. Rivera has since bonded out but Valencia remains at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility with bail set at $50,000.
