Driver of Black Van Tries to Pick up 12-year-old Girl After School

CAMERON PARK – On December 3rd a rolling black van became the focal point of suspicious activity. A 12-year-old girl was walking home from her bus stop on Pasada Road.
As she walked, a black van pulled up alongside her and the driver asked her if she wanted a ride home. The girl declined, but the driver asked her again.
Thankfully a passerby observed the incident and “yelled at the driver,” who then made a u-turn and drove away on Cambridge Road.
The black Chevy panel van sported dents from the inside out. The driver was a approximately 30 years old with a thin brown mustache and spiky brown hair.
