SAN FRANCISCO – Early on the morning of April 15th, 2018, police discovered the body of 49-year-old Quang Troung. The victim suffered from “multiple head injuries.”
An investigation began into Troung’s death, and eventually a suspect was identified.
On November 30th, investigators went to the San Francisco Jail and arrested 59-year-old Samuel Youmtoub and charged him with homicide in Troung’s death.
Youmtoub was already being held on unrelated charges. The SFPDE says, “Although an arrest has been made, investigators are asking anyone with information on this case to contact the San Francisco Police anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.”
