HOLLISTER – On December 8th around 8:30 p.m., a Hollister Police Department officer stopped a car for a traffic violation. The stop on the 400 block of San Benito Street resulted in three arrests.
The subsequent search of the vehicle produced a “fully loaded handgun withing reach of all three occupants.”
The driver, 22-year-old Gregory Casarez, as well as the passengers, 25-year-old Nicholas Lopez and 25-year-old Ruben Rivera Davila, were all arrested for possession of a loaded firearm.
Davila was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
