55-year old Feliza Aguilera Alvarado was arrested Thursday morning by detectives of the Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team.
A warrant delivered to Alvarado’s La Fond Road home on January 10th allowed detectives to search her and her home.
Grandma’s meth
The search procured 46.8 grams of meth that Alvarado had on her person; they were individually packaged into 51 bundles.
To support the charges that Alvarado was in possession of controlled substances with intent to sell, was a scale commonly associated with weighing drugs, along with other items.
Alvarado is also being charged with child endangerment as she had three of her grandchildren living in her home. She is being held at the Adult Pre-trial Facility with bail set at $100,000.
