TULARE – No one answered the door at a residence in the 3100 block of Sacramento Street after a welfare check was requested on Friday January 11th.
However while at the home, deputies did see a Bobcat loader in the yard. They determined that the Bobcat matched the description of one that had been reported stolen on December 18th.
Authorities recovered the stolen $13,000 loader and while they were still on scene, they observed a vehicle driving nearby with expired tags. Officers subsequently stopped the vehicle and interviewed the driver.
Following the interview, the driver, 20-year-old Nathaniel Bobenrieth of Tulare was arrested for possession of stolen property.
Then a second suspect contacted the deputies at the scene and admitted to stealing the loader. 32-year-old Tina Guerrero was also arrested and charged with grand theft as well as possession of stolen property.
