PARIS — Singer Chris Brown, 29, has been arrested by French authorities following an allegation by a woman who says he raped her in his hotel room.
The alleged incident took place after the woman met brown at club Le Crystal “overnight between January 15-16,” according to TMZ.
Brown has had numerous highly publicized brushes with the law, the most famous of which being his being prosecution for felony assault after brutally attacking singer and then-girlfriend Rihanna. The assault left Rihanna with visible facial injuries that were so severe she required hospitalization.
The Paris investigation is ongoing.
