HOLLISTER – On the night of January 26th, an altercation” occurred in front of the Hollister House Bar and Grill at 500 San Benito Street.
A officer patrolling near the location spotted three males running from the scene. The officer ran after them and then detained them the next block down.
The officer recognized one of the trio as someone “he had recently arrested for possession of a firearm.”
The officer also discovered that another member of the detained trio was concealing a loaded firearm with its serial number removed.
20-year-old Cesar Gomez was arrested and charged with carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a loaded firearm while being a gang member, altering the serial number on a gun.
