YUBA CITY – During the middle of the night (4:00 a.m.) on February 4th the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an domestic dispute incident at 1190 Robert Drive.
The deputies who arrived at the scene came to the conclusion that a battery had occurred and that major injuries resulted.
The victim in the assault was taken to the hospital and at press time was in stable condition.
The next day, the investigation identified and arrested two suspects responsible for the attack.
47-year-old Brandon R Wilson and 29-year-old Anthony M Tawney were charged with assault and mayhem. In addition, Tawney was charged with being a felon in possession of a gun and ammunition.
