SANTA ROSA – A narcotics investigation started in early January and lead by detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department recently took a drug dealer off the streets. The suspected trafficker was 23-year-old Alexis Fernando Aguirre. Detectives discovered that Aguirre was a gang member dealing methamphetamine in the area.
Armed with two search warrants on March 27th, detectives entered two residences that they suspected were involved in the meth trafficking.
First was 2371 Corby Avenue, #15. This was Aguirre’s residence. The second warrant was served at 2380 Corby Avenue.
Detectives seized half a pound of meth, an ounce of cocaine, an assault rifle and $10,000 in cash.
Aguirre was booked for possession of meth for sale, possession of cocaine for sale and possession of an assault rifle.
