VALLEJO – A verdict finally came down on April 15th concerning a gun related murder that occurred on September 21st of 2014.
On that fateful day, two suspects tried to rob Robby Poblete. Instead, they shot him multiple times, resulting in fatal injuries. They then “assaulted and inflicted great bodily injury on a 72-year-old bystander.”
Now, nearly five years later, Willie Bradley IV and Melvin Mason finally faced the judge. The pair were found guilty of first degree murder, and using a firearm in the commission of the murder.
In addition, Mason was found guilty of assault and inflicting great bodily injury for the incident with the bystander.
Both men remain in custody without bail. Sentencing has yet to be handed down, and the two will return to court on May 13th.
