LIVE OAK – Four suspects reportedly assaulted a man on April 15th and robbed him of his wallet, cellphone and vehicle. The assault and robbery incident occurred in the 1900 block of McDonald Avenue in Live Oak. Sutter County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the scene.
The victim received injuries during the incident and was transported to Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville for treatment.
The investigation lead to the identification of two out of the four suspects, and both were quickly located and arrested. The suspects who have currently been taken into custody are 43-year-old Steven Raines and 31-year-old Ashley Noble.
Raines faces charges of assault with a firearm as well as carjacking and robbery and Noble is facing charges of possession of stolen property, burglary tools, identity theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Law enforcement continues to work toward identifying and arresting the other two suspects, who at this time remain at large.
