SONORA – A concerned citizen called the Sonora Police Department just after midnight on Tuesday April 16th to report a female going from car to car in an apparent attempt to steal gasoline from the vehicles.
According to the caller, the thefts were occurring in a parking lot at Snell and Wycoff Streets. The female suspect had a gas can in her can and was “going under the vehicles.”
The responding officer came into contact with the female as she was under a van with her gas can and plastic tube. Two male suspects, who were also with her, were found nearby.
One of the males had a “fixed blade knife on his belt buckle,” and the other male possessed heroin and paraphernalia.
32-year-old Arnold resident Shawn Wiley faces charges for possession of a fixed blade knife, conspiracy and vehicle tampering.
30-year-old Arnold resident Nicole Stott faces charges for conspiracy, vehicle tampering and possession of paraphernalia.
27-year-old Sonora resident Charles Johnson faces charges for possession of heroin and paraphernalia.
