ROSEVILLE – A hotel-room located in the 1000 block of Lead Hill Boulevard was the scene of an erstwhile counterfeiting operation that drew police attention recently.
Officers from the Roseville Police Department arrived at the hotel-room on April 18th to conduct a parole search. Once inside, they saw one suspect working on a computer with the image of a $100 bill pulled up on the screen.
In addition, there were $1 bills in the room that had been washed, as well as a printer.
As a result, three people were arrested on charges of with forgery, counterfeiting, outstanding warrants and possession of a controlled substance –
- 29-year-old James McCarver;
- 43-year-old Meranda Lopes;
- 26-year-old Nataliya Golban.
