LOS ANGELES — Actor Ricky Schroder, 49, was arrested at around 12:40 AM Wednesday on a charge of felony domestic violence after allegedly punching his girlfriend.
The woman, however, refused medical assistance at the scene.
This is the second time Schroder has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in recent months, the first being on April 2nd. In both cases, Schroder posted bail and was released.
On May 1st, the LA County DA’s Office announced that they would not pursue the charges against Schroder in the April 2nd incident due to lack of evidence.
Schroder’s acting credits include the 1980’s television series “Silver Spoons” and, more recently, “NYPD Blue” and “24.”
