NAPA – The Napa State Hospital was recently the scene of two different arrests for earlier incidents of assault.
32-year-old Shane Michael England was arrested on a charge of assault by means likely to hurt someone. He was arrested on May 1st for the assault that occurred in April.
During the incident, England hit a staff member on her head,and the worker was taken to the hospital suffering from multiple bruises.
In the other incident, 57-year-old Paul Steven Rader, was arrested on May 2nd for the charge of assault to commit mayhem, in relation to an assault that he perpetrated in January.
In that assault, Rader jumped on a fellow patient and put his fingers into the victim’s eyes in an attempt to pluck the eyes out.
Rader was released 30 minutes after he was booked.
