SONORA – On the evening of Friday May 10th 2019, the Sonora Police Department was called to a home on Blue Bell West Road about a lost child.
The story came out that the eight-year-old child had been told by their mother to leave the home, and so the child was out walking around for half an hour.
Police then tried to find the mother, 28-year-old Amy Locklin, but were unable to locate her at first.
The mother was eventually found at a home on Mountain Lilly Road. Locklin asserted that she had been looking for her child but could not find her. She also did not call law enforcement.
To add to the drama, she also did not know where her other child was.
