EUREKA – Deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office served a felony arrest warrant at 7:00 am on Sunday May 12th of 2019 at an RV park in the 4000 block of North State Highway 101.
31-year-old Joshua Thomas Wentworth was arrested without incident.
Deputies then searched Wentworth’s residence and discovered a load of weapons – two assault rifles, five handguns, seven loaded magazines, one 50-round drum magazine, three high capacity rifle magazines, over one hundred rounds of ammunition, stolen property that included two chainsaws, burglary tools, paraphernalia and meth.
Wentworth faces charges of being a felon on possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of an assault weapon, stolen property, burglary tools, paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and parole violation.
He was booked into the Humboldt County Jail where he remains as of May 21st 2019.
