DELANO – At approximately 9:30 PM on May 14th, the 600 block of Glenwood Street was the scene of a double shooting.
Delano Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene where they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital.
The suspect, since identified as 24 year old Eduardo Medina of Delano, fled the city after the shooting. Two days later, after leaving the Reading Cinemas in Bakersfield, officers arrested Medina without incident.
Medina was booked into the Kern County Jail where he faces charges for attempted murder, as well as other gun related offenses.
Authorities report that both victims are currently in stable condition.
