WOODLAND — At 10 AM on May 10, the Woodland Police Department received two phone calls, the second of which stated that there had been a shooting and a lockdown at a school.
The call came from the school campus. Officers arrived and established search teams. After setting up a perimeter, officers began searching the campus.
WPD conducted a class-by-class search, then “led to a rally point where they could be bused and reunited with family members to a nearby park.”
No evidence was discovered that a shooting had occurred. Misinformation spread on social media about the incident.
Three days later, at 1 PM, three male juveniles were arrested for the threat. The two 15-year-old juveniles face charges of conspiracy and the 16-year-old faces charges of making a false threat and conspiracy.
