SUTTER CREEK — A 15-year-old Amador High School student brought a loaded handgun onto the school bus and to school on Monday, May 20.
That night, a report came in to the Sutter Creek Police Department about the incident. Officers and deputies investigated and went to the student’s home.
In the home, they discovered a loaded .45 caliber handgun. It did not belong to anybody in the family.
Authorities took the student into custody on charges related to possession of a firearm and having a firearm on school grounds.
No other charges, such as threats, are a part of this case.
