REDDING – At 5:25 p.m. on May 19, 25-year-old Sandi Garfias-Franco called the Redding Police Department to report a stabbing. It turns out she was the stabber.
Officers came to the residence on Market Street and found the victim wearing only a t-shirt. He had multiple stab wounds and a slashed throat.
Garfias-Franco was in an apartment nearby. An investigation revealed that the pair were married but had, unsurprisingly, “been experiencing troubles in their relationship.”
The stabbing was reportedly the result of an argument. Garfias-Franco was arrested for attempted murder.
