ELK GROVE – A man was lurking and trying to get into cars in the area of Dandelion Drive and Lollipop Lane. A concerned citizen called the Elk Grove Police Department about the suspect.

Arriving officers located 20-year-old Maxwell Quinteros as he stood near the car he had drove up in.
The license plate and registration on Quinteros’ car did not match, and officers discovered it was actually stolen.
Inside the car there was a controlled substance as well as narcotic paraphernalia. Quinteros was arrested and taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail.
