TRINITY – During the night of Saturday June 15th a call came into Trinity County dispatch from a man who said he had been shot.
Responders indeed discovered a man still in his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The victim related that the incident occurred twenty miles away from where police found him, off a dirt road.
The victim added that he drove in order to get service on his cell phone.
The name of the suspect remains unknown in this odd incident of attempted homicide.
