REDDING – A stabbing occurred at the Parkview Market earlier this month.
In the incident, a woman named Misty stabbed her victim twice in his neck region after she thought he was going to assault her. She claimed that the man was going to “drop an 18 pack of beer on her foot and acted as if he was going to punch her.”
38-year-old Misty Ladeen Dorman then rode her bicycle away. A few days later some calls came in, alerting the Redding Police Department that Dorman was located near the Redding Library.
Officers arrested her and then booked her on suspicion of attempted murder.
Her victim went to the hospital, at first in critical condition.
