Photo: Thieves stopped at Flyers
SONORA – On the morning of June 21st the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Teleli Golf Course about a vehicle burglary.
Apparently a man had his wallet stolen in the vehicular burglary, and his credit cards were being used at Sonora businesses.
The businesses where the cards were used gave a description of the suspects using the stolen cards. They also provided law enforcement with a description of the suspect’s Honda CRV.
Not long after, a deputy spotted the Honda at the Flyers Gas Station on Mono Way. 31-year-old Katherine Dickens and 36-year-old Casey Worley were with vehicle.
The pair had the victim’s stolen wallet and credit card, as well as the property they had purchased with the stolen cards. They also had burglary tools, 4 grams of meth, and drug paraphernalia.
The TCSO reports, “Dickens and Worley were arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for unlawful use of a credit card, possession of burglary tools, burglary, and conspiracy.”
In addition, Worley faces charges of “theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two out of county warrants for drug possession and failing to appear in court.”
