OREGON HOUSE – A search warrant was executed early in the morning on July 8 in the 9100 block of Westwood Trail by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team.

During the search, a total of 2,423 marijuana plants were discovered and eradicated. 140 pounds of processed marijuana were also confiscated.
Besides the large outdoor grow area, the garage and residence were “converted into indoor grow facilities at the property.”
Two male suspects ran from the property. One of them was found on Rices Crossing Road. 56-year-old Chung Chan from Texas was taken into custody and then booked on charges of illegal cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, maintaining a residence for drug sales and resisting arrest.
