VALLEY SPRINGS – A man reported that someone he knew pointed a handgun at him, took his cell phone and car keys, and drove away in his Mercedes.
The July 12th 9:00 a.m. incident brought deputies and detectives from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office to Valley Springs. Within a half hour the Mercedes was located parked at a trailer park on Sequoia Avenue.
Deputies then spotted the male suspect who admitted that he was indeed their man.
Further investigation revealed that a female suspect lured the victim to the location where he was robbed. 33-year-old Angela Lindow was arrested and booked on charges of robbery, vehicle theft, false imprisonment, threats and conspiracy.
The front man, 33-year-old Dustin Walker, was also arrested and booked on the same charges.
