Man shot in vehicle, drives twenty miles to get cell service and call for help
TRINITY – A man called the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office during the night on June 15 to report that he had been shot.
Deputies, as well as medical personnel, arrived on scene to a vehicle on State Route 36.
The victim reported that he had been shot while in his vehicle twenty miles away on a dirt road. Apparently he had to drive to a place where he could get cell service.
Both the identity of the shooter as well as the circumstances around the shooting remain unknown at this time.
It is believed that the victim will fully recover from his injuries. Obviously the investigation continues.
