REDDING — Early on the morning of July 30, at 4:45 a.m., officers with the Redding Police Department went to an apartment complex located in the 700 block of Mary Street for a disturbance.
Several callers reported that a man had kicked the door of an apartment open and was inside breaking things.
Arriving officers encountered 32-year-old Corey Cornellier, apparently under the influence of a controlled substance. The RPD reports that Cornellier did not know where he was.
The suspect was booked for PRCS violation, and possession of meth, and heroin for sale.
Officers found 6 ounces of meth and 18 grams of heroin in the apartment. They also found $800 in cash, needles, and paraphernalia.
