Second Youth Pastor Child-Molester Arrested During Sexual-Assault Investigation

WILDOMAR – A June 2018 investigation into alleged child molestation by a local youth pastor in the city of Wildomar led to the discovery and eventual arrest of another youth pastor of the same church — for sexual assaults that go as far back as 1991.
Acting on a report of Lewd Acts With Children, Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station investigators determined that several victims had been sexually assaulted when they were children between the years of 1999 and 2017.
Furthermore, they found evidence that an additional youth pastor, from the same local church, allegedly sexually assaulted a female child between the years of 1991 and 1992.
Investigators identified the suspect as Laverne Paul Fox, aka Paul Fox Laverne (60), who was found living in Pennsylvania.
Fox was extradited back to California on Monday, July 29th, and was booked into Robert Presley Detention Center on several felony charges related to sexual assault on children.
