EL DORADO COUNTY — A local woman was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies after a domestic violence call escalated to the point of an all-out brawl between her, deputies, and a K9 officer.
Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon on Sunday, July 28. The victim, who was the woman’s boyfriend, told deputies that she’d struck him with a crescent wrench.
The suspect, identified as Vicki Weaver, refused to come outside, at which point the victim let them into the home.
Deputies, including a K9 and his handler, entered the residence and found Weaver sitting on the couch, in the nude and yelling at them.
Deputies say she then rushed at them and began striking the K9 while trying to grab his collar. She also struck his handler in the face, “grabbed and twisted” the fingers of another deputy, and tried to grab the groin of a third.
By that point, the K9 jumped into the fray and bit Weaver multiple times.
She was taken into custody and taken to Marshall Hospital for treatment, where she reportedly continued to fight and even kicked a nurse.
Once medically cleared, she was booked into the El Dorado County Jail.
