HIGHLAND – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Crimes Against Children Division Detectives commenced an investigation on August 15th. The subject of the investigation, Perry Wiseman (42) of Highland is the assistant superintendent with non-instructional duties for San Bernardino Unified School District.
Fortunately, he has limited interactions with students. However, the investigation centered on child pornography.
Sadly, Detectives discovered internet images of children. Those subjects appeared to be sourced images, rather than the district’s students.
Detectives’ evidence revealed Wiseman’s distribution of those images. His arrest on August 16th resulted in a Central Detention Center booking for PC 311.1 Distribution of Child Pornography, and PC 311.11 (A) Possession of Child Pornography.
As a result, Asst. Super Wiseman is spending the launch of Back-to-School Week in detention with a $100.000 bail.
