“It is still a crime to sell marijuana in California without a license”
WILLOWS – 6177 County Road 52 was the scene of a marijuana bust after complaints from neighbors in the area.
The Glenn Investigative Task Force, Glenn County Probation and Glenn Coutny District Attorney Office collaborated in the operation, locating 383 plants.
32-year-old Rafael Chavez was arrested and booked for cultivation of marijuana. The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office reminds its citizens that Proposition 64 legalized the possession of one ounce of dried marijuana or eight grams of concentrated cannabis.
In Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone that, “it is still a crime to sell marijuana in California, or to possess with the intent to sell it, without a state and local license.”
